What is HRD Attestation?

HRD Attestation or Human Resource Department Attestation is an essential legal procedure issued by the Indian government to the citizens to authenticate the documents for overseas travel. HRD stands for human resource development, which is an Indian ministry responsible for the development and training of individuals to increase their skills, knowledge, abilities and education. HRD attestation is the initial step for the attestation of educational certificates which are issued by the respective state itself. Every state has its own HRD department. The attestation will help the certificate holder to prove the genuineness of the documents in the destination country.

After verification the attestation procedure is completed by putting a stamp and signature on the documents from the Government officials.
The HRD department of the concerned state verifies the documents so that it will be legitimate for international matters. Genuine document is required for verification. Seal and signature are added from the concerned state HRD departments to complete the HRD Attestation procedure.
